As you've noticed, at this time we no longer support PayPal as an accepted method of payment for Pro subscriptions. Here's a previous staff response around the topic that offers a bit more context.
While we still offer an annual subscription with a lower monthly cost breakdown, as you mentioned, if you decide instead to subscribe under the monthly plan, there is a difference in that monthly breakdown.
