[Resolved] non Flickr members can't see my pics

Dewi Sant Photography says:

This morning I gave the link to my Flickr page to someone who is thinking of getting themselves a Flickr account on my recommendation. She can access my albums ok but not the individual photos, she's just getting the "Bad Panda"; page. I logged out and tried myself but I'm getting the same thing, I log back in and everything is accessible again. Is Flickr having some kind of problem today?

Bad Pandas are a sign of temporary Flickr problems.
I can see your photos, whether logged in or not.

Something similar here, when not logged in. Been happening for about three days.
If I click on a Pro members photos all ok. If I click on a non Pro members photo I see it for a second then bad panda.
Tried with Firefox on Windows and Linux. No blockers just bog standard setup on Firefox.
But if I centre click or right click and open in a new tab then all OK.
If I log in then all OK.
Maybe it's a problem here but this is the first time I have noticed it.

I have this issue since 3 days now.

When logged in, all is fine. Logged out, every picture shows up for a fraction of a second and then is replaced by "bad panda" screen. Pressing reload then will show the image. Proceed to next image => bad panda.

Tried with Firefox and Chrome, testing with new profiles as well as with private tab to make sure it's not some extension/setting/cookie issue, but problem persists.

Chrome console log here: pastebin.com/z8d1z2yC

Same experience here - logged in and out: Clicking on an Explore image or a group image or a contact image, for example, results in a bad panda - when I refresh the bad panda page, the image becomes visible. This has been a repeat issue for days!

I wouldn't be surprised if this problem is related to ads. When I switch to incognito (signed out) every non-pro photostream shows me ads on every single individual photo page. And it seems like most people reporting the problem have free accounts.

I see your photostream and the individual photopages without a problem, whether logged in or not.

When logged out I can see individual photos of pro members only. All the other ones give me the panda page.

But I don't.

For what its worth I have tried the following standard browsers no tweeks and no addons. Same results as above with them all.
Microsoft Edge.
Google Chrome.
Brave.
Firefox.
All on Windows 10.

That suggests that it is indeed the advertising which interrupts your viewing. Have you tried using a different ad blocker or temporarily disabling the one you are using?

Edit: Uh-oh! Looks like DogZI above has the problem without using ad blockers. Maybe the browsers themselves are by default blocking ads or third party pages?

DogZI:
open in a new tab then all OK.
I have experienced Flickr links taking forever, except when opening in a new tab. Could be related.

As written above I tested with new profile as well, so no extensions, no ad blockers, no settings different from browser default.

If you check my console log linked above you see that errors happen in a javascript file with a name starting with "pubads".

So for sure it's the ads that break the system.

Have you just looked again/hit refresh, as it seemed to be only a momentary problem for the other person in that thread?

When? Your account is not marked as a paying member.

Your photos are still here.
Like others, I can see a bunch of headshots of one man.

And you are not currently posting from a paid account but from a free one.
Do you have another account?
To see any private photos you might have there (if they are private) you should log into that account, after logging out of the one you are currently using.

And seriously, if there really are "actors and unions" that genuinely rely on being able to access your photos you should not be using Flickr.
You should have your own website over which you have total control.
That would be the only professional way to go about things.
