Login nightmare . . .

dragonflydreams88 says:

This is a last ditch effort to help a fellow Flickr friend . . . She has been unable to login to her account for several weeks, and before you say "contact support" . . . She has done this multiple times without success. They respond by emailing her a "temporary password", but that doesn't work either, she add still can't login using the temporary password! Now before you say "not possible" . . . trust me, it's true!! I know because she had me try from my computer to see if I could gain access for her and change the password for her . . NO LUCK!! Same exact results, Flickr sent a temporary password that leads you right back to the same spot . . . And still no access!!! IS THERE ANYBODY THAT CAN HELP SOLVE THIS???? PLEASE!

There is literally no one here in this forum who can help you except the people you specifically want us NOT to tell you to contact for help.

mag3737: I get that, but I'm hoping 'they' will see this cry for help and investigate further . . . The temporary password is not getting anywhere . . . Just around and around the mulberry bush with no solution . . .

If it does not work, try with a different browser and/or on a different computer or phone.

Browser add-ons or high security settings could be the problem.

But you already tried a different computer, it seems. It sent you back to the same spot. Which spot is that? What happens exactly when you do what?

That the password is incorrect . . . Even though it is the temporary password supplied by Flickr

This might be of no help at all, but I had trouble signing into yahoo mail after changing my password. I copied and pasted it exactly, but it wouldn't work. It turned out that my browser (or my Google account, I forget) had the old password stored and would automatically use the old one, even if I typed in the new one. I ended up going into "saved passwords" and updated it with the new password, and then it worked.

I realize flickr is not yahoo, and this might be of no help.

Thanks for trying, but we have been using the temporary passwords sent by Flickr . . . and even those won't allow her access to her account . . . truly a mystery!
