How do I put back pictures in my computer folder?

coucou7luke says:

I've suffered a hard disc failure resulting in some pictures loss and a change of computer. Some of those lost pictures are in my Flickr albums. Is there a straightforward way to revert the process and reinstall those pictures to the photos application of my MacBook? I've spoken to Apple support and unfortunately they cannot find the pictures in the iCloud drive.
