If you made the comment, can you not make it again?
If someone else did, can you not ask them to repost?

I don't know how well the Wayback Machine works with Flickr, but depending on the dates and how long the comment was there before you deleted it, you might try the Wayback Machine at the Internet Archive.

The Wayback machine copied the photostream last month, but not all the individual photopages.

As Viejito said- its correct, only page with photostream is copied,

Are there any other idea how to solve it?
Or only flickr can help me?

Nanskaa:

It is difficult to delete a comment "by mistake" from a photo at Flickr, as the interface prompts with the dialogue:

Delete Comment

Are you sure you want to delete this comment?

Cancel [Delete]

Under normal circumstances, a comment cannot just "disappear," and if you deleted it, you should remember going through the deletion process, which takes two clicks.

Is it possible you are looking for the comment under the wrong photo?

Otherwise, and unless someone made a screen shot of the missing comment, your only recourse is to contact Flickr Help on the outside chance the engineers maintain a stash somewhere of deleted comments.

Also if you block someone, the comment disappears.

I will explain what happened- so I add comment (same comment) under photo twice, then I delete 1 of them ( I dont need same 2 comments)- after I delete 1 of them - the second disappered.

I see.

Well, At first I wasn't able to duplicate or repeat your event. When I made two identical comments and deleted the second, the first remained. However, when I then tried to delete the first comment, I got an error message

Error
We couldn't delete your comment.
Cancel [OK]

I tried that twice with no success, but then when I refreshed the page, the first comment was gone.

So for test #2, I made the first deletion of the second comment, and then refreshed the page, and sure enough, both comments were gone.

So it seems there is a slight bug.

In any event, at this stage, only Flickr staff can help you.

Good luck.

When I made two identical comments
I thought Flickr had code to prevent two identical comments by the same person in the same thread, but maybe that was only in group discussions...

Or maybe that code has something to do with your problem.

Viejito:

Obviously, your knowledge of the inner workings of Flickr far exeeds my own, but it really wasn't my problem since I try to avoid saying the same thing twice, and/or abstain from saying the same thing twice.

Seriously, I was merely trying to do some trouble-shooting to repeat what the OP had experienced, and indeed I found there is a bug.

If Flickr has code to prevent two identical comments by the same person, it is improperly implemented, leading to a loss of data such as was experienced by Nanskaa, the OP.

Properly implemented, this code you've mentioned would prevent the duplicate comment from ever appearing in the first place, something like this:

Error
You've already said that.
Cancel [OK]

As it stands now, to avoid losing both (identical) comments, the user is best advised to leave well enough alone and not try to delete either of the duplicate comments, at least without first copying one of them to the clipboard or some other safe location.

Well, perhaps the OP will return with a further report, leaving the naughty words behind.

Thanks for the the willingness to help troubleshoot here!

I'll make contact with Nanskaa to gather additional details & file a report with our engineers if necessary.
