What's with searching your own photo's?

Orbmiser says:

Click on magnifier to search my stream put in "Leaves" and says 3805 results. Then can only scroll down about 30 rows then just sits there with spinning Flickr balls and goes no further.

Tried 3 different times on different searches same results goes down only 20-30 rows and then just spinning balls and no further.

Anybody else have this issue?

I just searched your stream for "leaves", scrolled down to the bottom of visible images and more loaded. Scrolled down again, and more loaded. Scrolled again and they kept loading. So it works for me.

The only time I ever experienced something like that was when my available memory was getting low, or my disk space was getting low due to the cache growing in size with each image loading. And of course there could be a problem on Flickr's end.

I'm not pretending that what I am about to suggest is a fix or the answer or even a workaround, but . . .

switching from "relevant" to "date taken" or "date uploaded" will change the ones that will show-up in the space before the spinning balls of death. Also, you could open the "advanced" menu and limit to tags only or put in a start and stop time frame. Just some ideas that might help if you are looking for a particular image and you don't know where it is in your stream.

Thanks all for info and insights into there being a problem. Just tried again tonight and worked all the way down to page to "Load More" button. So either a temp problem on Flickr end? or my iSP end?

But since others also stating same issue my suspicion falls on Flickr end.

Thanks for flagging this issue. I am glad to hear that it seems to be resolved. I tested this out on my end but was not able to replicate the spinning balls.

As mentioned clearing cache may help resolve the loading issue or you may try using a private window. I have provided some articles for anyone that needs additional assistance:

Clear the cache and cookies on your web browser:

Try using Flickr in a private window:

I will send an email to gather more information and see if I can help.
