Flickr Pricing

kiddus_i2003 says:

For a long time I've been paying for two years "Pro" at a time for around $45 Australian , now it is $70+ per year. The Pro Perks are just not good enough (i find no use for them) and the basics such as "view numbers" and number of uploads do not warrant such a price. How about a "light version" for those of us who have been with Flickr for a long time.

The main Pro "perk" for me is the fact that I can have an unlimited number of photos on Flickr. Apart from normal price increases, a lot of the price increase is due to the fact that you are now also paying local taxes.
