Really do not understand why this functionality has not been added to the Flickr APP?
Have been asking for this since joining over 2 years ago and have been told the DEV Team will look into it?
Basically that is a "cop out" answer to this.

Actually considering closing my subscription due to this and using Google Photos with full resolution uploads AND NO I do not want to use "Screen Mirroring"

Hi there,

I can definitely understand the desire to see this feature implemented in the Flickr App.

While the development of this feature is not on our roadmap, I have provided your feedback to our Product Team.

Thanks!

Pretty sad to get this news.
With so many modern TV's out now with Chromecast built in and resolution 4k and higher, displaying your full resolution photos via this method is so common. Far better than gathering around a computer monitor or mobile phone screen!

Will probably now migrate to another provider offering this functionality.

Thanks for your reply.

If you want to show your photos on a TV, why not just put them on a USB-drive, and simply plug that in to your TV?

That way you can use Flickr for what it's good for, show your photos on your TV to family or anyone who visits, and just get on with your life.

Mordibe:

You could just open Flickr up in the browser on the TV.

Nionyn_:

Agree and have done this before, even using network share.
Chromecast is just so convenient and it surprises me that an Android App like Flickr doesn't provide this option. Every streaming service does.
