Hi folks,

I've been taking photos since I was ten, when I used a Zeiss Nettar. In teenage years, I never received that lusted after Zorki 4 as a birthday present and made do with a defective Kowa E. (sticky shutter).

 

My interests revived when I was a student in Saarbrücken, when I bought a Minolta Srt100 and I became an enthusiast again when I upgraded to a Zenza Bronica and later a Minolta XE-1 which was the love of my life.

 

Since then I have grown a collection of Nikons, film and digital.

 

My heroes? Sheltering from a downpour at the local library I discovered the works of Michel Lagarde, Marta Orlowska et al. in a book called 'Altered Images' it was a breathtaking trip!

 

Addendum:

I find I'm getting more and more out of film photography despite earlier attempts which all seemed to give inferior results. We'll see where it takes us next. (2) Have now an FX camera...... but have found joy in Four Thirds! Addendum to the latter: micro 4/3 even! In my senior years I've grown to love Olympus fit-in-your-pocket cameras and lenses
