OK, Let's get this out of the way first thing. I know my photostream is a bit unusual to say the least, seeing that it's almost entirely devoted to one car. In my defense though, it is kind of a cool car.

But hey, If you are curious, check it out and let me know what you think. Either way, thanks for visiting. :-)

Sometimes there are those cars that stir such passion and favorable emotions that they immediately become an instant classic. Such was the case with the 1968 Dodge Charger

In 1968 Dodge rolled out a new body style for the popular Dodge Charger muscle car and unknowingly introduced what would eventually become one of the most iconic cars in American history. Sporting curvier front fenders and rear quarter panels, the ’68 model was the first Charger to feature the famous “Coke bottle” styling.

The new "Coke Bottle" Look made the 1968 Charger one of the best-looking Muscle Cars, Period, with many considering it the best looking performance car of the 1960's.

This is my 1968 Dodge Charger R/T (Road & Track). It has the 440 Magnum with an automatic transmission and it is all original and unrestored including the paint (ordered with the "Delete Stripe Option", hence no R/T stripe), vinyl top, interior, engine, and transmission. It is a numbers matching car and I got it from the original owner March 28th, 1977. I don't drive it in the winter and try not to drive it in the rain much but other than that I enjoy the heck out of it. :-)

For the most part, this is a photostream meant to highlight the photogenic qualities of the 1968 Dodge Charger (mostly because I'm pretty comfortable with the subject). I am not much for being in front of the camera so you won't find alot pictures of me other than to tell the story of long I have owned the car.

I know that there are a number of cars like this, but I am always struck how the slightest tilt of the camera; up, down, angled right, angled left, result in a completely different personality for the 1968 Dodge Charger. I hope you enjoy these photographs and compilations of my car.

One of my favorite Cruise's is the Car d’Lane cruise that takes place every June in nearby Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.

I love photographing vintage cars of all makes and models, but I have gained more and more inspiration for my own craft from observing Scott's photo stream than any manuals and "how-to's" on the subject. The images are original, well composed and expertly lighted, and it is obvious Scott has a love of photography and the car he owns. Anyone even remotely interested in the art of automotive photography would do well to sit and peruse this series of magnificent captures and become inspired. Outstanding, first rate work!

This guy really takes some awesome picture's of a car that i personally think was one of the best designed muscle cars ever made. You have been able to capture the beauty and style in each photo of the charger . Really great job. Can't wait to see more..
