First, I have always loved photography. A few years ago I moved over to the digital world and haven't looked back. I love film, but digital has become so good, and the ability to take so many more pictures, cheaply and view them instantly is wonderful. So many other reasons, I won't list,

Currently I drive all over the United States of America and occasionally to Canada as a Long Haul Truck Driver. (18 wheeler) which for now is great, as I've always loved traveling and now I get paid to travel.

Everyone has their own way of participating on Flickr, here's how I roll.

I follow people that show an ongoing interest in my photography.

If you fav a lot of my pictures and or make comments and follow me, that's not enough, sorry. I actually follow the people I follow on a daily basis, that means I can't follow a huge number of people, I just don't have that kind of time. But, I will check out your photostream, likely as not I'll fav and make comments, but won't follow you until I see an ongoing interest, that doesn't mean I expect you to fav and or comment on all my pictures, or even follow my photostream everyday, we're all busy with life. But, if you fav a picture or two every month or so, that's not going to show enough interest for me to follow you. I want to follow people that are interested in my photography.

Most of the time when someone I'm not following favs or comments on a picture, I will check out their photostream and almost always find pictures I like and reciprocate.

People that follow, but that's it, well I have zero time for them. They may get huge numbers, but that's all they are, just numbers.

The people I follow become my Flickr friends, and I'll do all I can to support them on Flickr.

Well, that's about it, I wish you the best in life and your photography endeavors.

A huge thank you to my friends on Flickr. I used to be able to individually express my appreciation for all the kind comments, but I simply don't have time, so what I try to do now, is comment on your photos, hopefully that offsets my short comings here. I do read every comment and also see who is faving, and try to show my appreciation with my visits to your photostreams. You make my Flickr experience a joy everyday.

Finally,

"You don't take a photograph, you make it."

Ansel Adams

So don't take mine without permission... better yet, make your own.

Haven't updated my profile in awhile, not much has changed except how busy I am at work, long hours driving and tight schedules have drastically cut into my free time. I don't have the time to be on Flickr everyday, so I'm posting less, still taking lots of pictures, but don't feel right to post and not reciprocate. All I can say is eventually I get to all my friends and try to visit everyone else as I can. The important thing is I'm healthy, pretty much happy, and hope you are all enjoying life and health.

Alvin Harp is a great guy, with a good eye for what makes a photograph pop. He has given me advise on composition, camera settings, lighting. He turned me on to flickr and this testimonial is just a small way of saying thanks. I appreciate you brother.
