"Strikeouts are boring! Besides that, they're fascist. Throw some ground balls - it's more democratic." Crash Davis
I actually really like my poster that Scout produces. It's such a good example of my different interests.
I am an architectural historian. I graduated in architecture from USC for my undergrad, architectural history for my grad from the University of Illinois, and I'm ABD in cultural geography (let's not go into why I didn't finish).
I travel throughout the United States for work, and take photographs of things that interest me.
Lately it turns out that I've been trying to link up my photographs with National Register numbers so that people can gain a broader understanding of our national heritage (especially since the Park Service's National Register website lacks any photographs).
I am a huge baseball fan (as if you couldn't tell that from the quote above) with a particular fondness for the Dodgers. Here's to banning the DH.
My most interesting photos:
I also have a YouTube page under the name armyarch with videos of neon signs in action. Have a look.
I am slowly switching my videos over to Vimeo under the name www.vimeo.com/user408445. Have a look.

Adam's photostream is not just a trip around the country, it's a grand tour with a knowledgeable and friendly guide! His catalogue of historic buildings appears to know no bounds and is a rich resource for both the casual visitor and the serious researcher of architecture.
One could easily lose a few days just getting lost in army.arch's photostream. The pictures are beautiful and historic. They are a primer on American architecture. I am proud to have him as a contact.
army.arch's photosets are some of the most attractive and complete surveys of historic American architecture I've ever seen. From the ordinary to the extraordinary, his photos capture what makes American architecture such a rich tapestry.
