I am a Musician/Producer/Engineer who enjoys photography as an additional creative pursuit. I've held an interest in both music and photography since I was very young.

My passion for creative photography was rekindled in 2006 when I bought a used Canon 10D and became a part of flickr, learning from other photographers, starting groups and making lots of friends.

I took a long break from flickr between 2011 and 2019 while I was heavily involved in some music projects but I recently got back into shooting and sharing photos again. Now I shoot primarily with a Sony A7RII and classic M42 and M39 lenses.

my photos sorted by flickr's 'interestingness' algorithm.

I often don't write descriptions for my photos, but I do add tags that give information about the shot. If you're looking at one of my shots and you want to know more about the image please check out the tags.

Here's a handy monitor calibration scale. Ideally one should be able to distinguish each shade value.

I recently discovered he's started to take pictures and sure enough he's got an amazing eye too! I am flabbergasted by his shots. How did he get so good so fast!? To top that off he's a real cool guy as well. Ah, some people are blessed with so much talent...actually come to think of it, he kind sucks at poker! Actually last time I played with him was a while ago so he might have turned pro since! ;~D

When I first came to flickr, Marc was one the first to consistently notice and comment on my photos, which I deeply appreciate and take encouragement from. He has been kind, generous and helpful, always taking the time to answer my questions, and offers keen advice which I am grateful to receive! As for his talents behind the camera, just take a look at his photostream. I am always astonished at his range of interests, styles and subjects. He moves easily from his wonderful abstracts to human interest, nature, and all stops in between! And he justs keeps getting better and better! Keep an eye on Explore, because you are sure to find him there. I wish him all the best.
