My name is Colin, though I'm commonly know as Fodenalpha on many websites.

My previous username was "BCOL4651" and before that, it was FodenAlpha

I also have a second account here:

It is where I decided to post my diecast collection as to not clutter this account.

If you're an Instagram user, I have an account on there where I post anything. Lately it's been mostly car related.

Username: fodenalpha

I've been interested in cars since I can remember. But really started studying them and photographing them in the last ten years.

I seldom shoot modern cars, but when I do it's because the photo turned out nicely or the car is actually easy on the eyes.

When I was much younger, I liked classic cars from the 50's to early 70's(usually American cars) because they stood out so much. But then as I aged and had internet access/watched television. I came to like more everyday European and Asian cars built between the mid 70's to early 90's that were more abundant when I was young.

I've never fancied modern cars for as long as I can remember.

I've also never fancied sports cars or super cars built after say '95. All and all, I like 'boxy' cars where the bumper was a separate part of the car and not apart of the front fascia.

My favourite automobile designer is Giorgetto Giugiaro for his work from the 70's to the 90's.

My cameras are as follows;

Motorola RAZR V3 (Dead and no longer use. It's the camera that started this great hobby.)

Pentax Optio E50 (First digital camera - retired)

Pentax Optio VS20 (Second digital camera and the best I've used(now retired because of an internal issue))

Samsung Galaxy S II LTE (Second mobile phone to use for car spotting - retired)

Samsung Galaxy A5 (Backup camera or when I don't bring my Lumix)

Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS60 (Brand new camera purchased March 24, 2019. Only use for when I expect to use it.)

Cameras I've barrowed at various times or were used by their respective owners and photos sent to me.

Canon PowerShot A2000 IS (My brother's - retired due to zoom issue)

Kodak EasyShare C763 (My mother's)
