小川 Ogawasan has an amazing talent for crafting photographs that capture the Japanese sense that nature is sacred. He has an ethnographic eye for detail and information, but also has an intuitive spiritual sense that always amazes me.

Thanks, sir, I so enjoy your work. Don't know what your travel itinerarary looks like but it appears to be a pilgrimage. I can tell by your shots that your spirituality is behind your work. The sensitivity in your subject matter, lighting, etc. is quite phenominal. If you ever get to the Ozarks, look me up. Our natural… Read more

What can I say is probably goes beyond the words something that could be depicted only in a zen-like meaning. The neverending love for Japan -in all it's beauty of tradition, nature and human being- is one of the main themes in Ogawasan's photostream he handles in great and respectful admiration for this country. With the same respect and greatness, his photographs of animals -mainly predators as tigers and panthers and taken in a french zoo- lift up these animals towards their born animal state of conquerors of the world...a never boring random site to discover over and over again!
