This is but my second testimonial.... I am writing this as I cannot not write a testimonial about this humble and talented man. Phillip believes in paying it forward and as he has walked ahead and led the way for others to follow he offers the path to others that want to work hard and grow offering a hand up...not a hand out!!! Yes he offered me advice and I whole hardly accepted it with enthusiasm and gratitude. Phillip is a wonderful steward of our collective art form and genuinely wants to see others that have the desire improve do so. His work is executed and presented masterfully with every bit an artistic approach via lighting and composition that each and every piece he creates IS an example of "FINE ART." I have never met the man/artist and was presently surprised to see he knows his way around a kitchen. Creativity in the kitchen or with a camera is hard work....PERIOD!! But as Phillip undoubtedly knows passion drives success; and when one is passionate about ones avocation of hobbies one IS successful. In conclusion, it is a complete honor that I offer these words of encouragement and personal thoughts given to the master of fine art, not by promotion but by attraction, and a desire to give back in gratitude that which was given freely to me by a generous and humble human being. The Mom and Dad did a hell of a job Mr. Dunn. Thanks so much for leading by example my dear friend and being that consummate inspiration for this ole guy to better himself to emulate this kindred sole by paying it forward as I can. Philip rates up there with some of my favorite contacts, not just because he has educated me on cameras and helped me so much in making decisions but mostly because of his inspirational postings of his beautiful images. I call him the Bird Master, he can capture the beauty of birds like a Master... He's not only a great photographer but has this great sense of humor which I love in people. Example: (Says he's not allowed to go to the local camera shop without adult supervision.) Ü Thank you Philip for all your help and your friendship here on Flickr!

My hat is off to Phil as a decent human being but also as a brilliant craftsman in the art of photography. He is one of the best bird photographers that I have had the pleasure of being a friend and contact with on flickr and produces consistenly accurately focused and exposed world class images. I knew Phil from a Canadian photography site several years ago but lost contact with him when the site folded but fortunately I stumbled across his screen name here. He is a very busy Chef as I once was before I retired so I can apprecitate how little time he has to produce such stunning images of professional quality. I placed one of his shots in my gallery of favourite of favourites from my contacts with much difficulty because the choices were limitless but I picked one of his older shots from when he posted on the previous photo site , it was one of my most favourites then and still is. Thank you Phil, keep up the good work.

Philip was one of my earliest flickr contacts, and I discovered his stream purely by chance. But what a discovery! He continually amazes with his stunning portraits of a variety of bird species, and visiting his stream is a joy. I hope there are many more shots still to come!
