When you try to describe the quality of one man's photographs, where do you start when he excels in every subject? Rafiq can capture the beauty in a small child's face, a bird in flight or the reflection in still or rippling water. But he's at his best with man made things. He can turn a simple view of a building site into a work of art you would be pleased to hang on your wall. Give him a finished building and he can turn a sewage work into a temple. Put Rafiq in front of a skyscraper or a concrete flyover and they become a route to the stars. If this "Non Reliable Indian" (his words) starts taking pictures of people in earnest I shall give up the hobby. There will be no room left for me! Only kidding my photographic friend. Visiting your photostream is one of life's great pleasures.
