Hi everyone and welcome to my Flickr space,

I live and work in a beautiful country of Norway. In Oslo, I run a small photography studio with high-end scanning, editing and giclée printing services. I also regularly attend local arts and crafts markets where I sell my prints.

I received training in photography at the NCAD in Dublin, Ireland and I'm a proud member of fff - Forbundet Frie Fotografer (Norwegian Association of Fine Art Photographers).

Regarding my photography work, I find it hard to summarise my approach in connection with my artistic ambitions. I'm mainly working on ongoing projects which are being shaped and developed continuously. Each photograph in my portfolio may as well be perceived as a single study which is beholding similar characteristics as a reflection of a daydreaming person, one who is fascinated by nature. Often in an unreal or surreal manner looking for vignettes of the natural world. I see this as a fusion of my main inspirational movements - Pictorialism and Impressionism.

I work with various film materials and heavy, but beautiful, large and medium format cameras. I like to experiment with these tools, interchange parts from different cameras or build accessories that help me create those dreamy scapes on the spot. All films I develop and further process at my studio in Oslo.

Permanent exhibition of my landscape photographs and large-scale prints selection of my portraiture work can be seen in the premises of the 'Tea Garden' on 7 Lower Ormond Quay in Dublin, Ireland, or in a wonderful 'Chillout Garden' in Bratislava, Slovakia. Saga Hotel in Oslo recently acquired four large prints from me as well. These decorate one of the hotel's premises and at the same time, one of the best sushi restaurants in Oslo called Fangst.

Maybe you think the world exits just as you see it, but trough Vladimir photographs you can see other ways to see this unreal place that we call world; it just becomes real when we realize that everybody's vision is what makes it interesting, photography is a way to interpret it. I would love to have the eyes and mind of Vladimir, because he seems to live in a wonderful world.
