Dark, brilliant surrealism. Plays with the edges of the visible. Entrancing. An exceptional artist who speaks directly to the soul.

he's a master. his pictures are a "noir" version of an "alice in wonderland" world. no limit between real, surreal and unreal...nightmares are fairy tales.

I personally do not like writing testimonials because I rarely find an artist worth writing about, i.e., an artist who consistently pushes the creative envelope. . Not all the work may be good at times but regardless of good or bad yves always is striving for originality. EVER INTERESTING. He is one of only a few artistsnot a vicitim of bad photoshppping. and better still, his grunge, coloration, photoshop schtick actually advances the purpose and intensity of the image rather than simply lay on top of the photo like a sloppy lover. I see so much bad "grunge" filters, and blood and pseudo goth and pseudo and plain BAD so-called surreal work. Yves is a true surrealist, on the order of the great dadaists and tanguy, dali, miro, et al. I have taken the time to look at, relish, and enjoy each and every one of the little stories in his photo collection and look forward to new insane little bits. thank you, Yves, for not being a photoshop victim but a furreal artist. ciao, bob fischer (photomeister)
