Stanley Park
Stanley Park is the jewel in the crown of Vancouver. Established as a park in 1886 and officially opened on September 27, 1888, Stanley Park has long been a favourite of Vancouverites and tourists alike. Its 1,000 acres, set on a peninsula of the downtown area, include almost 500,000 cedar, fir and hemlock trees, beautiful trails through the forest, the Vancouver Aquarium, a model railway, and stunning beaches.
