Not an Ostrich
To engage interest in American history and culture, more than 250 rights-free photographs were among the 440 images selected for a lively exhibition called “Not an Ostrich: And Other Images from America’s Library.” The Annenberg Space for Photography in Los Angeles, California, hosted the exhibit April-Sept. 2018. The title “Not an Ostrich” reminds us to ask—“What are we really looking at?”
